Dear friends, fans and lovers of our dog buddies,
with the new year also new beginnings and opportunities come and I do hope it will be happier year then the last one. I grew as a person, very much, but it was a hard painful change.
I wish to all of you and your doggy buddies a lot of joy, happiness, love and satisfaction. May your homes fill with laughter from our dogs monkey bussiness, warm moments from cuddling on sofas and unconditional love.
Thank you for your support and for the world you create for my breedings.
I believe that a being should be born at home and also die at home surrounded by those, who loved her and all the common stories in peace and love. I want to pass this value also to my children. Even though it is very hard, death belongs to life. So they could make a choice if they want to say good bye to Fly with us. They were amazing and I could not be more proud.
Fly was not able to walk and after many weeks of ups and downs we found out she her a tumor along her spine, in her spinal canal and bones. We could not help her anymore. I am still not sure in many things, but this is not one of them. I will not let my loved ones suffer. I have to deal with it and Fly is now at her forever home, where all the souls live...
Thank you, that I could be a part of your life. You were EXTRAORDINARY!
It was my very first litter in a new breeders club and under my new prefix outside of the FCI - MyWay. I was very hesitant, I was not sure if I can cope with everything, that people will denounce me and I will not be able to find new homes for my puppies when I am not under the FCI anymore. And it was all in vain. It was one of my best decision even. So thank you my dear "As", I could not make it without you and wish you fast feet and happy tails always!
My very first litter is 8 years old today. Wow! As far as I know Arctic „Sony“ (here in the Czech Republic) and Arley "Pommi" (in Finland) are doing well. Aegon unfortunately died in 2020 when he caught Aujezsky desease on a hunt. I wish him all the best to the sky and beg him to watch after his brothers. To Sony and Pommi many healthy years to follow!
Chase and Catch, 2 rascals, who were born in my third FCI litter under the prefix Beautiful Cold Hill. Their dad comes from Finland and he is a son of Laku, site of our litter "B".
As far as I know both still live in Prague and do well, for which I am very happy. So I wish you, dear kids, all the best for your 4th birthday - long walks, many treats and warm soft beds.
Today Bearkly would be 16 years old. After our Hodor went over the rainbow bridge I still can not cope with it. But this is life, right? We all will once get to the point when our dogs leave forever and we are here without them.
So far I couldn't comprehend what has happened and I have no words to say...
Our beloved and always cheerful rocket celebrated 11th birthday. It is unbelievable how much energy she still has. She is just like a puppy - happy, playful and loves people. If only she could she would lick away your brain from your head. I love her, she is once in a lifetime dog. She ages as wine. It was not easy for me to find a way to her in the begining. But now I see her qualities and how unique she is! I hope, love, that you stay with us many more years and we can enjoy your company.
I am over the moon that all the girls are doing fine and grow well!
Dakota went to a family with an older dog buddy and we hope she will bring back his spark and he will manage her :D She stays in the Czech Republic. Darcy went to Germany to Daniele and Andreas, owners of Tom - the sire of the litter. Double also lives in Germany with her aunt - Xia's sister. Well, now we are at home all alone :D
Also time has come when Deva and Digi went to their new homes. Deva was a secret gift for parents. But do not worry, well planned, thoughtful and of course enthusiastically accepted. Deva will live on a farm with other dogs, horses and goat :D And Digi? Takers were changing and eventually she went to her step brother Cookie (Xia & Brad).
We had a busy time before the girls could leave with their new families - buying contracts in czech and english, check everything, print, pack and get ready. I had to visit a doctor with my son also meet his teacher and... DEE, who was supposed to leave today, was hit by one of the other pups to her eye..so I had to visit vet as well. Luckily her eye is fine and should heal well within a few weeks. I wanted to keep her with us but her family wanted to have her home already. Thank you Angie and George and I wish you great time with Daisy Dee. She will live in our country in Prague.
The last birthday in Fabruary in our kennel. This time the big day belongs to Cinnamon & Cookie MyWay. They are only 2 years old. Cookie is going to check on us this weekend and I am looking forward to it, as I didn't see him since he left with his new owners besides thousands of photos. Cinnamon stayed with us, so I see her thousand times everyday :D :D :D.
We called out "D" litter "Pipi gang" (in our language pipi means chick). They are doinh very well and grow into strong beauties. Two of them will live in Germany, one is still looking for her forever home and the rest will live in the Czech Republic. I am a bit slow to put together all the news on our website, so you are welcome to see our latest updates on our FB profile.
Another february birthday belongs to our litter "B" of our formal FCI kennel Beautiful Cold Hill. After the sad news from January Broke is running over the rainbow bridge now, but I really hope the rest of them will longer with us for that. Girls, all the best!
Our Xie vom Hatzenbach is 6 years old today! Time flies sooo fast, I still remember like yesterday when we brought her home as 6 months old puppy. I wish to both of us to stay with each other at least double time. There is no one else to come up with monkey business like she does!
Today Broke Beautiful Cold Hill crossed the raibow bridge. She suffered serious injuries on hunt of a wild boar and she succumbed to them. There is always risk when puppy is sold as a working dog, but a dog can get seriously injured during other sport activities as well. Broke died during what she loved and she was as good as hell in hunting. I dare to say that she was the best working bitch in our country. Many thanks to her owner for taking care of her and managing her to such a level, she was a class. Thank you, Jirka!
She is the only puppy born in a long planned litter by Fly and Raf. It was the second litter in my kennel MyWay. She is such a beauty and so similar to her dad Raf, that we named her Beauty. And this snowy white beauty celebrated 3rd birthday this year. I consider this age for a terrier as a begining of adulthood :D
All the best to you, dear Beauty!
On Thursday morning Xia begun to give birth. We have 6 girls. All are doing very fine.
This year it is Raf's 9th birthday. I wish you, my dear four-legged friend, all the best - many treats, also the stolen ones (be cause if you didn't know Raf is a treat thief :D), also many hours under a warm blanket, many walks and other adventures with all of us.
During Christmas I wanted to be with my family and myself alone, I wanted to spend hours on the sofa and just cuddle the doggies without social networks and checking my phone each 10 minutes.
Xia's pregnancy was confirmed and we can see her belly growing. But I intended to spend time with her rather than putting news on-line. And now the short announcement, that you are all dying to hear :)
Dad of the puppies is Wentdale Tom. You can not find much about the kennel Wentdale on Google :D We are simply not all online even in the modern time. Tom was born in UK under JRTCGB, where he also grew up. Lest year in spring kennel vom Hatzenbach imported him to Germany, where also my Xia comes from. Tom is a young male, typical russell, active, cheerful, easy to learn. He passed all health tests required by the german club and also tests of character. He did not officially passed any hunting test, but that is in process ;).
All the best wishes for 2023 to all good people!
